Bichines BJD Squishy PAW PADS!

Hello there!

This is a special post I wanted to do, to show the process of the Bichines BJD special feature: 

the squishy PAW PADS! 

They are made of a special resin that make them soft and ready to be squeezing ! 

My husband Luseck help me to do them, with his infinite patience, from the beginnig to the end: hand sculpting them, sanding, sealing them. 
Then we have been studing the best way to make them soft, trying different resin types, experimenting with colors and textures till we get the perfect one!
He did the silicone molds, poured the special resin and then cut every little one and glue them to the paws. 

A lot of work I wanted to be appreciated ^_^

Bichines BJD WIP!

Hello my dear friends!

I would like to share the work in progress of my tiny dolls: "Bichines" BJD! (means something funny in spanish for small animals)  :)

“Bichines” BJD are going to be my new line of little animals, with the same body called Bichín line, and several heads. The first ones are “Jum Jum & Pom Pom”, the fennec fox and the rabbit. And very soon there going to be a deer and a cat :3

I took all the photos with my mobile, to publish them at Instagram, so I'm so sorry but the quality is not very good.

Here's some pic from the beginnings, planning the shape and joints, in 2013...

All the pieces in sketches, as I call this state of giving volume:

All the parts defined, the next is to make the balls for the joints ^_^

Leg stands up alone!  :P

Lilly prototype was hand sculpted by Lean. She is an MSD slim BJD of 15 inches (38 cm) tall, with 16 joints, double-jointed knees and elbows. She is going to be available in island color skin (normal skin, a little pink) in environmental resin. Casted by Island Doll from Jpopdolls.

She wears 5/6 wig, and 10mm eyes. She can wear Minifee and Ellowyne Wilde outfits, and slim Yosd shoes.

On the Isle of Man, the Leanan Sidhe is a vampiric female spirit, while the Irish Leanan Sidhe is known as the inspiration of poets and minstrels. She would roam the night, searching for romantic men to inspire with eloquence of word and beautiful music, although those who are inspired by her usually live a glorious, but short life…”

Hello! There's been a long time since I write the last time! But now I'm back and I would like to introduce you my new Creation:  Leanan is a One of a kind original ART DOLL, and she is fully poseable!


I (Leandra, from Vasilisa's Dolls) designed and sculpted her, Inspiring on the Night or Nocturnal Court Faery legends.

She was hand sculpted to the bust, arms to the elbow and legs to the knee in polymer clay; hand painted with pastels and acrylics. Covered with a varnish protection.

She has a soft poseable body, made by a wire armature, the armature is wrapped and stuffed with batting and a fabric body sewn on it.

Her outfit and shoes are entirely handmade by me too. I did the hair styling with white matte viscose hair with a single strand of light blue hair.


Her head and body are very poseable. You can bend the limbs at the elbows and knees, and even sit her! She can stand on her feet too without a doll stand.

Her wings and tiara are handmade with aluminium wires and adorned with swarovski crystals. Her shoes has a red swarovski crystal as the heels.
